Jorge and I live in the same building downtown. We met in the elevator one day and he showed me a condo on my floor that happened to be having an open house. I mentioned to him that I was renting in the building and wanted to buy a unit on a high floor with a large patio. He seemed professional and knowledgeable so I decided to work with him.

Once we narrowed my search down to what I was looking for, we realized that there were only 15 condo units in the building that fit my description and none of them were being offered on the market. So instead of sitting and waiting, or giving up, Jorge went the extra mile and wrote letters to the owners of the 15 condo units I was interested in. To my surprise this marketing technique worked, and one of the owners responded to the letter and contacted Jorge. At first, the sellers and I were way off on the price but after a lot of back and forth, Jorge was able to negotiate a great deal for me at $50,000 below market price!

During the loan/escrow process there were all kinds of hurdles we had to get over (due to no fault of mine or Jorge’s) and Jorge was able to keep it all together while under immense pressure. We had to get multiple extensions and there was a lot of stress involved. It wasn’t easy but he guided me in the right direction and we were able to come out of it. I was very happy with his service and his ability to solve problems. Jorge is the guy I would recommend if you are looking for a professional, proactive, problem-solving realtor.
